I love high-street beauty products; there are so many good quality lotions and potions that work just as well as their higher end counterparts!
Today I thought I'd share my top ten favourites..
Dove Summer Glow
A top selling gradual tanner that has been re-branded as Derma Spa Summer Revived, but I believe the product is still just as good! You can buy this in light to medium or medium to dark depending on the colour you'd like to go. It's such a great, foolproof product that is much cheaper than other gradual tanners.
E45 do my favourite body lotions as they are only very slightly scented and hypoallergenic. This particular one I've photographed seems to be discontinued, but I would highly recommend Hydrate and Protect, and their original Moisturising Lotion.
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser
Creamy hot cloth cleansers that melt away your make-up are my favourite; but I'm not keen on spending lots of money on a product if there's a cheaper option available. Superdrug's Hot Cloth Cleanser is fantastic value for money and I would highly recommend testing it out. It's RRP is £5.99, but every time I go into the shop they seem to have it on Buy 1 Get 1 Free - this is miles cheaper than most other products on the market!
Botanics Ionic Clay Mask
Another product that has now changed packaging since I bought it; this is now marketed as a Mens Clay Mask, but it is the same product. This absorbs excess oils and deeply cleanses to reveal smoother and softer skin! I always have this in my bathroom cupboard.
Boots Cucumber Eye Gel
The cheapest of all the products at only £1.50; this eye gel is so soothing and cooling on the eyes, especially when kept in the fridge. It's perfect to use after a late night - whether you've been partying or have a baby who think it's nocturnal!
Sleek Brow Kit
The best kit for travelling with. This contains a powder, wax, two brushes and tweezers to help give you the perfect brow! It gives a far more natural look than using a pencil.
A long wearing, medium to full coverage foundation, that comes in two formulas for either dry or combination/oily skin. I used this for years and have recently gone back to it as the formulation is so good, especially for the price. It doesn't go patchy and can be layered to get the coverage you desire.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I think most people can attest to how good this concealer is! It covers imperfections, is water-resistant and transfer proof - all for only £4.19.
L'oreal Volume Million Lashes
A fanned out effect without clumping, it leaves lashes looking long and fluttery. Some people have complained about the size of the brush being too big - it's a stiff, round brush. If you like something smaller, Maybelline The Falsies has got a thinner, bendy and tapered wand. which I find is wonderful for your bottom lashes or really getting into the corners.
Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder
A translucent setting powder that keeps make-up in place for up to five hours! I keep one of these in my handbag for any touch ups when I'm out and about.
