I always make sure to keep my toe nails painted; it helps to make them look that little bit prettier, because lets face it, most feet are just 'Gah!!'
My finger nails are another story. I'm always using my hands for tasks, so they chip so quickly and I just don't have the time for the upkeep.
But if I do fancy looking a bit more preened, the best choice of polish to go for is a nude. When a nude colour chips it can go unnoticed for a few days - perfect!
These are the four colours I would recommend, and that I always use!
'A barely there soft beige pink'
This is a lovely cool brown toned nude.
I have the older version of this with a thinner brush, however Essie repackaged their polishes and I love the new wider brush - it makes application much quicker and it seems to apply more evenly as you don't need to keep dipping back into the pot!
'An opaque creamy pale pink'
This goes on very opaque from the first coat - almost like a pinky tip-ex. It goes great with a tan!
'A rosy pink'
You can really build this colour up to your desired opacity. A lovely, everyday pink!
'Sweet candy pink'
The OPI website calls this a candy pink, but for me it comes out a lot more nude than pink. This is my go-to barely there polish.
