Being that I am quite a scent hoarder, I thought it was about time to do a post on my five favourite perfumes!
Roberto Cavalli Roberto Cavalli
A Top note of Pink pepper, with a heart of Orange flower. When you first put this on, it's quite sensual and heavy, but it dries down to a soft, powdery scent that I think comes from the Vanilla base note. It makes me think of summer every time I wear it and goes well with buttery lotions such as Vaseline's Cocoa Radiant.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
An oriental fragrance that opens with a strong Orange top note. The heart reveals Jasmine and Rose, while the base is quite musky with Patchouli and Vetiver. For a while I found this scent quite cloying, but now I absolutely love it! I think it's the heavy musk base that can make it a bit sickening if you sprayed too much.
Escentric Molecules Molecule 01
A unisex fragrance containing only one ingredient - Iso E Super, Molecule 01 is supposed to smell slightly different on everyone and adapts to the wearer. I find it quite peppery and velvety; an incredibly sexy scent!
Jean Paul Gaultier Madame
Notes of Orange Zest, Sparkling Rose, Musk and Cedar. A strong, lively, citrus scent; I love how uplifting it is. My husband says it reminds him of plasticine - apparently this is a good thing!
When looking for a link for this perfume, I had trouble finding it in most stores so I'm now a bit worried they've stopped making it - will be buying it in bulk!!
Stella McCartney Stella
Stella has top notes of Rose, Peony and Mandarin essence; middle notes of Rose Absolute and base notes of Amber. It's a very strong, bold fragrance; like walking through a garden of roses and orange blossom!
From looking at the descriptions I've written, you can see I tend to go for fragrances with a citrus, orange note somewhere within them; so if that's something you think you'd like I'd suggest checking them out.
