Perfect Pastels for Spring!

Since Spring has now officially arrived (according to the date, not temperature) I thought I would share my favourite nail polishes for this time of year.

Models Own Beth's Blue
A soft, lilac toned blue. This applies really nicely and you could even get away with one coat. I'm not sure if this has been discontinued, but apparently Nails Inc Oxford is very similar in colour (although probably a bit more expensive).

Essie Mint Candy Apple
A beautiful mint shade, as you would expect from the name. This applies slightly more streaky than Beth's Blue, but I do find that to be the case with a lot of Essie polishes - they're harder to apply but they do last a long time. This has been a favourite of mine for 4 or 5 years now!

Essie French Affair
A slightly more yellow based lilac. Again, can be a bit difficult to apply but the staying power is fantastic, especially with a good top coat like Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat or CND Super Shiney.

Essie Van D'Go
A light peach-pink. I absolutely adore this colour as it really perks up my skintone. It applies really thick and you do have to be quite careful, but it's worth it!

Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream
A lovely baby pink. You need two, maybe three coats to get an opaque finish, but it stills looks lovely if applied quite sheer and gives a pretty, natural nail.

What are your favourite pastel shades?
