I used to always title my outfit posts with a song I was listening to or loving at that period of time. So, today I thought I would do a little throw back to 2012 and title this after a song by Heaven's Basement. If you like rock music check out their Vevo on YouTube here. They are awesome!
Onto the outfit itself...
I've been dressing very casual during my pregnancy, but sometimes it is nice to make yourself feel a little more glammed up! So I stuck on a blazer and hat over my usual jeans with vest ensemble - that small change made me feel instantly less frumpy.
The only maternity item in this outfit is my jeans which are Jonis from Topshop.
The tank I bought specifically for being pregnant but it's from Primark and is one of their stretch vest dresses. These are amazing and only cost £3.50! I've actually bought this in my regular size and it still fits perfectly over the bump.
The blazer is another Topshop purchase. I swear by Topshop for blazers because they last really well and don't go bobbly as some of my H&M ones have. They may cost a bit more but if the quality is better, it's obviously worth it!
And finally the hat is from eBay. I adore it but do get a bit of anxiety when wearing it ..I don't want to be that girl running down the road after her hat!
Felt floppy hat - eBay
White vest (stretch vest dress) - Primark
Black Structured Blazer - Topshop (Old)
Maternity Joni jeans - Topshop
PS: I did not wear fancy shoes or heels with this, but instead squashed my feet into my converse as they are the only thing that somewhat fits right now!
I hope you are having a far more interesting Friday night than I will be having. Being 9 months pregnant, there isn't much you can comfortably do, so I'll be chilling out and watching Netflix I should imagine. Although I am very much looking forward to the Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter ice cream that is sat in my freezer :)
