So a couple of weeks ago while at the airport, I wandered over to the YSL counter and spotted No.19 which is a gorgeous, bright pink.
The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the texture is luxurious, but I'm not a big fan of the smell which is kind of fruity. It's also not for those of you who like a long-wearing lipstick - I certainly wouldn't bother applying this while at work, because it's gone within an hour.
While this will be a very treasured lipstick, I don't know whether I would repurchase or buy any other shades. Personally, I just cannot justify the cost. And my heart still lies with my MAC lippys.
What do you think of the YSL Rouge Volupte?
Ok I am officially in love with thus colour! It's just stunning. X
ReplyDeletePerfect shade. :) Have the same ;)
ReplyDeletePerfect shade. :) Have the same ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely shade! I've ordered Nude Beige from cheapsmells.com for around £15, still the most expensive lipstick I've ever bought but I definitely wouldn't pay its normal £22 retail price - CRAZY! xx
ReplyDeletelush shade, shame about the staying power, might have to give it a miss xxx
ReplyDeleteThat color looks gorgeous on you! I wonder why it doesn't last on you? I have dry lips and LOVE their sheer formula and that lasts about 4/5 hours on me. Maybe this is 2 creamy? Anyway, it's a perfect pink!
ReplyDeleteLovely colour! I've heard the same about these too, they don't last long, for the price they should! I too am very fond of my MAC lippies, the new collection isn't doing anything for me at the minute though xx
ReplyDeleteI still haven't tried one yet but that colour looks really lovely...
ReplyDeleteI'm not too fussed about staying power as long as it doesn't dry my lips out xx
I've wanted to try these for agessss, maybe just because I want something from YSL aha! The colour is gorgeous but not sure I could splurge xx
