Bronzing pale skin!

If I had one wish to change one aspect of my appearance, it would definitely be to have naturally darker skin. I'm not talking a bronzed Jordan/TOWIE tan, I'd literally be happy with a slightly more golden undertone that stops people asking if I'm sick or tired because my skin is so see-through that I look blue.

Luckily fake tan has been my saviour for the past 7 or 8 years and has kept me away from sunbeds and insane sunbathing obsessions which are potentially dangerous for my health. However, sometimes I just can't be bothered with the faff of tanning, especially when I've been at work all day and just want to get into bed and not have to go through the whole application process.

But there is one product I've been using for the past 4 months that allows me to be as lazy as possible and still look golden and glowy. And the product is **drum roll please** Collection 2000's Shimmering Glow in No.5 - Sunkissed. It gives a subtle hint of gold to the skin with minimal glitter that makes you look healthy and glowing but without any of the oily shine that some liquid highlighters can do.

For those with darker skin, there is also No.7 - Mosaic Glow which gives the same effect but in a slightly darker shade.

In the photo below No.5 - Sunkissed is pictured on the left and No.7 - Mosaic Glow on the right. As you can see Sunkissed gives a very subtle sheen which merely helps to enhance your skins radiance and looks seamless on the skin as it is so sheer.

I like to apply it all over my face, particularly on my temples, down my nose and along my cheek bones. It's even fantastic when I have fake tan on, as you can see below, so it would work on skin tones up to about NC 25 to give a healthy glow.

What are your favourite bronzers? Do you like using bronzer all year round or stick to it mainly in the summer months?

Have a lovely weekend :)

  1. I love bronzer!!! I usually use the Sleek bronzer in their contour kit which is fab but my mums just ordered me Nars Laguna bronzer for my birthday in a couple of days so I'm excited to try that out!

I've never tried any Collection 2000 bronzers but I do keep staring at them when I go into Boots, I think I'll have to pick one up now because they look so pretty in this post :)

  2. I've never used bronzers before because I've always thought that I'm too pale. That colour is really pretty though :) xxx

  3. I have always feared bronzers because I'm EXTREMELY pale. So I wish I could get my hands on this one to try. :/
