I've been working really hard today, as I have an assignment to give in on Wednesday and then I've got another for next Tuesday. I don't have anytime to apply make-up or look pretty, so this outfit is actually from Saturday. I don't know about you, but studying makes me so lazy when it comes to my appearance, I sometimes don't have time to wash my hair for days – so it's lucky I've got blonde, curly hair that's extremely dry!
You may notice in the first photo that the highlighting on my cheek bones looks stupidly overdone, I blame bad lighting for the poor application! But we all make mistakes, right? I'll be the first to admit, I'm constantly getting my contouring or eyeliner wrong! Anyway, other than that, I've got pretty simple make-up on, what I would do on a daily basis, except for the addition of some Ardell Demi Wispies.
I had been planning to wear a pretty, girly dress but after listening to Bullet for my Valentine while doing my make-up I felt the need to wear something a bit more rock. It's a pretty simple outfit, nothing special or inspired! Yet again I'm wearing my cowboy boots and beloved Topshop shorts. Oh how original am I? When I fall in love with an item, I wear it like it's going out of fashion!
I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend! I'm guessing loads of people in the UK were celebrating the Royal wedding and many had street parties to celebrate. The one a couple of streets away from me was pretty tame, just oldies and kids, I only popped round to have a nosey like any good neighbour does! Ended up going to the pub instead with the fiancé while the Tottenham v Chelsea game was on, it wasn't a good outcome for us, Chelsea won 2-1! I say 'us' but I'm only a supporter by default, I was on twitter the whole time and stuffing myself with yummy peanuts. Boredom is the enemy of any diet!
